Painted with Light 2026

On site, all of this was far less spectacular than it looks in the pictures. The autumn play of light and shadow only gave me the starting point; after that I let loose in Lightroom. Normally I hold back in post-processing and try to leave the pictures as close as possible to how I perceived the scenes. This time, interpretation came first. Maybe I was influenced by the fantastic Kit Young exhibition I had visited shortly before.
