At Munich's Marienplatz, just in time for the glockenspiel: smartphones are held aloft to capture a spectacle that hardly surprises anyone anymore. Perhaps it's no longer about seeing, but about having. A photo, proof, a check mark on the list. And yet I ask myself: How many small, quieter, and probably even more beautiful moments remain undiscovered because we only do what everyone else does?
